Hi, I'm Rebecca, the creator behind Roses & Whiskers!

Do you know the song, "My Favorite Things" from "The Sound of Music"? Sing the lyrics along with me for a second: "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens." Get it? "Roses & Whiskers" signifies some of my favorite desserts!

I've been gluten free since 2008. Back then it was much harder to find quality gluten free foods and ingredients. Luckily, today, no one even knows that my treats are gluten free unless I tell them!

This website started out as a blog, and you can still find some of my recipes and craft tutorials here. 

Here are a few other important facts about me: I'm married to a wonderful man (Ian) who is the reason this site is up and running. Technology is not my strong suit. And I am currently a cat mom to four furry friends: Clara, Dolly, Einstein and Felix! I am also a furever mom to cats, Abby and Benji, who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019.
